We're a small team of recent grads who wanted to build a product that's simple and can help in everyday life. On a post grad trip to Southeast Asia, we kept seeing pocket herbal inhalers everywhere, engrained in daily routine. With use cases from helping give you focus and energy during a long work day, cooling you down on a hot summer day, helping clear your mind when you're feeling under the weather, and giving you a needed boost to push through difficult workouts and physical activities, we wondered why these weren't widely available back at home. We started with tiny batches of simple ingredients and fine-tuned the scent, getting feedback from friends and family along the way. The result was our portable aromatherapy jar, made with care and designed to help you breathe better and focus sharper, and thus Pocket Zen was born.

Our journey has led us to believe that we are most alive in the great outdoors - whether that is on the trail, chasing mountain peaks, under the pines, out on the water, or stepping outside your comfort zone to experience new places and new cultures. That connection to the outdoors shapes everything we make: clean, cooling aromas inspired by fresh air, evergreen shade, and the ocean breeze.
